On the occasion of 'National Revolution and Solidarity Day', the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has organized a colorful procession on Friday. The procession will start from in front of the BNP central office in Nayapaltan around 3 pm. After circling various areas, it will end at Manik Mia Avenue.
This information was informed in a notification sent by the party on Thursday. The notification also said that the procession will start from in front of the party's central office in Nayapaltan in the capital and will end at Manik Mia Avenue via Kakrail, Matsya Bhavan, Engineering Institute, Shahbagh, Hotel Intercontinental, Banglamotor, Karwan Bazar and Farmgate.
A ZM Zahid Hossain, a member of the BNP Standing Committee, commented that there will be a flood of people in Dhaka during this procession. He said, 'Not only BNP leaders and workers will be present in the rally, but people from all walks of life will participate. Along with that, leaders and workers from around Dhaka district and common people will participate.
He said this at a press conference at Bhasani Auditorium in Nayapaltan of the capital on Thursday.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir's speech will start the procession, and at the end of the procession Acting Chairman Tarek Rahman will give a speech, said Zahid Hossain.
BNP has been observing November 7 as 'National Revolution and Solidarity Day'. Regarding this day, Zahid Hossain said, November 7 is not BNP's day. People trusted Ziaur Rahman that day. Because, he did not run away with the declaration of independence.
BNP Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anyi, Publicity Secretary Sultan Salauddin Tuku and Student Affairs Secretary Rakibul Islam Bakul among others were present in the press conference.
