Arab FinanceEngineer Karim Badawy, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, met with Matthews Rigas, President of Energen International Company. The meeting touched on the position of completing the deal to sell the company’s assets in the oil and gas sector in Egypt, Italy and Croatia to Carlyle International Energy Partners, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
It is worth noting that Carlyle International is looking to establish a leading independent exploration and production company in the Mediterranean region, by intensifying development and production operations, mergers and acquisitions, and accelerating the implementation of current decarbonization plans.
