West Bengal MP and senior Trinamool Congress leader Kalyan Banerjee is also excited about Donald Trump's victory in the US Presidential elections. Kalyan Banerjee said that Donald Trump's victory has proved that age does not matter in politics. He said that if someone is getting support, there can be no age limit for him.
In fact, there is a big debate going on in the ruling Trinamool Congress in West Bengal regarding the retirement of leaders. Before the Lok Sabha elections, TMC General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee had said that retirement age should be implemented in politics regarding the decline in work efficiency and capacity of the party. Rejecting the talk of senior leaders retiring from politics, he had asked the youth to respect senior leaders.

If someone is capable of working for the people of the country and handling all the responsibilities then he should be allowed to work. The MP declined to comment on party leader Kunal Ghosh's hint that Abhishek Banerjee could become the next Chief Minister of West Bengal after Mamata Banerjee.
