Nahid Islam, Adviser on Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology and Information and Broadcasting, said, “Action must be taken against those who allow banned organizations, genocide convicts and fascists to spread their propaganda in the media.”
He made such comments in a post on his Facebook page on Wednesday (November 6) night.
Nahid Islam writes in the post, 'Awami League always has two characters. On the one hand, terrorists, fascists, brutal forces kill, disappear, kill, torture, and on the other hand, they create discourse and legitimacy of fascism with civil, intellectuals, journalists, cultural workers.
He writes, “After the infamous propagandists of ETIM brought the brutal murderous leaders of the banned Chhatra League to the public, various media platforms and journalists are now taking initiatives to normalize it.”
According to this adviser, 'They are thinking as if Awami League has fallen systematically and Awami League is now the opposition party. Awami League-Chhatra League is trying to propagate the statement as an opposition.'
Commenting on mass killings in Bangladesh in July-August, he wrote, 'They have forgotten that a mass killing took place in Bangladesh in July-August. Where many people including students, children, women, workers have been brutally killed and many lives have been crippled.'
Nahid Islam complained and wrote, 'That fascist Awami League is still threatening genocide and paralysis. Awami League is now on trial for the genocide. However, various forces are trying to bring Awami League to the society in various movements.'
He said in the post that these will not be profitable, but they will not be profitable. Awami League has fallen over blood. The sooner Awami sympathizers accept this and work for the people, the better for all. We know this fight is ongoing. And we are ready for all time.'
