Buff president's announcement to stop corruption

Tabith Awal came to BAUFFE for the first time after being elected president. The new president has given a message to make the federation free from corruption.

In the afternoon, one by one, the elected members started coming to Buffe Bhavan. Finally came Tabith. After arriving, they completed the introduction phase with the new committee members and BAFUF officials. A few days ago the members of the new committee exchanged greetings with the footballers who won the SAFF women's championship. Tabith made a strict declaration of ethical and corruption-free during the meeting with BAFUF officials.

A member of the executive committee of Bafuf, who did not want to be named, told Ajker newspaper, 'It is basically an introduction phase. For the first time after being elected, Buffe president and we came to the federation. I got to know everyone. However, the president emphasized on one thing, corruption will not continue in football. He warned that the debates during the previous committee should not happen again.

Tabith's words at the press conference gave a glimpse, 'I know Bangladesh Football Federation follows the rules of AFC and FIFA. In that case, what are the moral standards, what are our laws, where is the sense of value—these things we must know. We would never want this standard to be compromised or anyone to do anything unethical. Along with this, it should be noted that you never have to get into any legal problems.'

Tabith talked about whether SAFF will honor women's team or not. But he did not say anything clearly today. The final announcement will be made after the first executive committee meeting next Saturday, he said, 'They have brought great success. There will definitely be an announcement from the buffet. That will be after our first meeting on Saturday.'
