How was the last campaign of Trump and Harris

Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris and former Republican President Donald Trump have made last-minute campaigns in Pennsylvania and other battleground states in the upcoming US presidential election. Both candidates are expected to win in the last campaign and urged voters to vote for them. British news agency Reuters reported this news.

Various dramatic events have emerged in this election campaign. Two assassination attempts and a criminal case against Republican candidate Trump, while Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris suddenly became the candidate after President Joe Biden dropped out. The campaign has spent $2.6 billion since March, according to data from analyst firm AdImpact.

However, according to opinion polls, 78-year-old Trump and 60-year-old Harris are getting almost equal support. It is expected that it may take some time to get the results of this election even after the polling on Tuesday. Trump has already hinted that he will fight it legally if he somehow loses, as he did in 2020.

On Monday, both candidates convened in Pennsylvania to ensure voter turnout. This state has the largest number of Electoral College votes among the seven important states. It is expected to play an important role in determining the outcome of the election.

Trump held rallies in North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Michigan in the final days of the campaign. He later returned to his Palm Beach, Florida residence. Harris, on the other hand, scheduled five rallies in Pennsylvania, where Trump also campaigned. These include Reading and Pittsburgh.

Harris' star-studded rally in Philadelphia

At the end of the night, Harris held his final campaign rally at the Philadelphia Museum of Art on the Rocky Steps in Philadelphia. The crowd was attended by stars like Lady Gaga and Oprah Winfrey, and Harris presented himself as a 'Rocky' movie underdog ready to fight for victory.

“I'm ending tonight as I began: with optimism, energy and joy,” he told the crowd in Philadelphia. The crowd responded to Harris' speech by chanting 'We shall win'. He called it one of the most contested elections in US history.

“We've been waiting for this day for four years,” Trump told his supporters at a large rally in Pittsburgh. He expressed hope that by winning Pennsylvania, he would be able to win the election. “We are going to win Pennsylvania,” he said at the rally.

Early voting trends

Harris' campaign team claims that, according to their internal data, undecided voters are staying with them and early voting has increased voter turnout among key stakeholders, particularly young people and minority communities.

On the other hand, Trump campaign officials said they are seeing a positive trend in women's voting. However, Harris is getting more support among women and Trump is leading among men. Trump's campaign team continues to work with supporters like Elon Musk to reach targeted voters.

The two candidates' promises and campaign debates

One of the main talking points on Trump's campaign trail was the economy. He claimed that an economic disaster would follow if Harris was elected. Moreover, on the question of women's rights, he said, “Whether women like it or not, I will protect them.”

Additionally, Trump announced, transgender athletes will be kept out of sports.

Harris' campaign, meanwhile, is preparing for a possible election challenge from Trump, and the team's legal counsel, Dana Remus, said voters will choose the president, not Donald Trump.
