Tehran may show flexibility to Tel Aviv if the ceasefire between Iran's allies with Israel is confirmed. President of the country Masoud Pezeshkian said this in a speech on Sunday (November 3). The French news agency AP reported the news.
State-run news agency IRNA quoted the president as saying, 'If the Israelis reconsider their behavior, accept a ceasefire and stop the massacres, the intensity of our response can be mitigated.'
However, he warned, Iran will not hesitate to give a befitting response to any aggression against its sovereignty and security.
Iran launched a massive missile attack on Israel on October 1. In response, Israel carried out airstrikes on Iran's sensitive installations on October 26.
After that attack, Iran threatened and said that they are ready to take appropriate measures with all the tools. The country's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said on Saturday that they will surely retaliate.
In a speech to students in Tehran, he said the US administration and the Israeli regime should understand that what they have done against Iran and the Iranian people will be met with a crushing response.
