PCB president assures ease of visa procedure for Indian visitors

The upcoming Champions Trophy will be in Pakistan. Although India's participation is not confirmed, Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has assured to ease the visa process to attract Indian visitors.

Naqvi gave this assurance after a discussion with the Sikh pilgrims coming from the United States. At this time, he expressed his interest in inviting Indian visitors, hoping for a positive response from them. Naqvi said, 'I will arrange a special quota of tickets for Indian visitors. In addition, I will implement the system of issuing visas quickly.'

Naqvi expressed hope that Indian spectators will visit Pakistan to watch the India-Pakistan match in Lahore.

The Champions Trophy is scheduled to be held in Pakistan next March. The tournament schedule is yet to be announced. The main reason is India. Everything depends on whether their government will agree to visit Pakistan.

Note that the Indian team has not visited Pakistan since the terrorist attack in Mumbai in 2008. There was no test series after 2007. They mainly play in global tournaments.
