Volunteer party leader hacked and injured in Chuadanga


In Chuadanga, volunteer leader Shahjamal was hacked and injured. The doctor referred him to the National Orthopedic Hospital and Rehabilitation Institute (NITOR).

The incident took place in front of the house of a Thana Chhatra Dal leader in Farmpara of Chuadanga Municipal area on Saturday (October 26) before evening.

The injured Shahjamal is the son of Zainuddin Mollah of Pharmpara of Chuadanga Municipal area and the Industrial Affairs Secretary of the District Volunteer Party.

Shahjamal, who was injured at night, said that on Saturday afternoon there was an argument over a trivial incident. As a result of this, the BCL workers along with their opponents cut and injured them with sharp weapons. Three fingers of one of my hands were cut and almost severed. Later the locals rescued me and admitted me to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital. I left Chuadanga for Paralytic Hospital for better treatment.

Inspector (OC) of Chuadanga Sadar police station Khaledur Rahman said, I heard that one person was cut and injured. Three fingers of his hand were damaged. We requested him to come to the police station to file a complaint or case.
