Sanjay Verma Criticized Canada Govt: After deteriorating relations with Canada, the Indian government has recalled High Commissioner Sanjay Verma. Meanwhile, Sanjay Verma accused the Justin Trudeau government of giving shelter to Khalistani terrorists and gangs. In an interview given to 'NDTV', he has strongly criticized the Canadian government for creating Khalistani terrorists and gangs.
Sanjay Verma said that Canada was successful in limiting hate speech against India by Khalistanis. Hate speech cannot be encouraged in the name of freedom of expression. Canada's inaction against Khalistanis, despite India's repeated requests and information, has emboldened the extremists.
Sanjay Verma said that the allegations made against India by the Justin Trudeau government are strange. Bharat had told him about the relationship between Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi. Goldie Brar runs extortion business openly in Canada, he is the kingpin of all extortion rackets in Canada and Punjab also.
According to the High Commissioner, Khalistanis run businesses in Canada. They extort money and use the money to live a luxurious life and work against India. PM Justin Trudeau had also expressed strong objection to inviting Khalistanis to programs in Canada. India had condemned Canada's abusive behavior towards the recalled ambassadors. The Foreign Ministry had said that the allegations leveled against him by the Government of Canada are ridiculous and deserve to be treated with contempt.
