Young generation will resist A.L. for next fifty years: Manna


Mahmudur Rahman Manna, president of Nagrik Oikya, said that the young generation participating in the Awami anti-fascist movement will resist the Awami League for the next fifty years. So nothing can be done in state reform and election roadmap, Fascist Awami League can take advantage.

He said these things at a discussion meeting titled “Anti-Apartheid Mass Uprising North New Bangladesh: State Reform and Election Roadmap” organized by Bangladesh Nezam Islam Party at National Press Club's Maulana Akram Khan Hall on Saturday (October 26).

He also said that to make the August revolution meaningful and fruitful, all the political parties involved in the anti-discrimination movement in the state reform and election roadmap should at least come to a united place and remain united. As we were all united until the fall of fascist Hasina, even in these changing times, if we do not hold it, our struggle may be lost. So we all have to be vigilant till the desired goal is achieved.

In the president's speech, Maulana AKM Ashraful Haque said that the people will not accept any chance of rehabilitating fascism. Awami fascist government has fallen in the blood bath of students. Dictator Hasina had to flee the country in the mass coup. Interim governments have been established through popular uprisings and revolutions. So this government has to value the blood of students and the spirit of revolution.
