President of Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Colonel (retd) Ali Ahmed said, 'Whoever fights with Awami League in the 24th People's Uprising, cannot compromise with Awami League.'
He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the 19th founding anniversary and 6th National Council of the Liberal Democratic Party-LDP at the Engineering Institute in Ramna of the capital on Saturday (October 26).
Ali Ahmad said, 'If the mess of the past 15 years cannot be cleaned, a level playing field will not be created in the elections. For this, the interim government should give reasonable time.'
He said, 'It is not possible to establish a clean society if the politicians are not fair. If the politicians can create an example of honesty, the country will move in the right direction.'
Urging the major political parties to unite to protect the country, the LDP president said, 'Some people are still trying to destabilize the country. The pace of reforms that have been undertaken in various sectors of the country is very slow. Everyone in the society should be brought under the purgatory campaign.'
