Moin Khan called the mass uprising of the students as a romantic revolution

BNP standing committee member Dr. Moin Khan

He said this at the commemoration meeting organized on the occasion of the 12th death anniversary of Oli Ahad, the leader of the language movement and national leader of the language movement, at the Abdus Salam Hall of the National Press Club on Saturday (October 26).

The memorial meeting was organized by Democratic League (DL) and Oli Ahad Smriti Sangsad.

Moin Khan said, I believe that the mass uprising of the students in the history of Bangladesh today – this victory is a romantic revolution. The reason for saying this is that this manpower of students has apparently created differences, equality and unity in some places in two and a half months.

He said, in the context of the process we are in today, the way people have sacrificed their lives for true liberation, the movement-struggle, in the context of the movement in Bangladesh, I feel that we are carrying forward the continuation of that romantic revolution.

Mahmudur Rahman Manna, President of Nagorika Oikya, said that the people of the country fought and defeated the dictatorship. The country is so rotten that it needs to be reformed.

Saiful Haque, general secretary of Revolutionary Workers Party, said that the politics of Bangladesh will not return to the old revenge. This nation will no longer bow to any imperialist. We must embrace the victory of the people's uprising.

Jonaid Saki, chief coordinator of Mass Solidarity Movement, said that Oli Ahad is a very important figure in the politics of Bangladesh. His contribution will be forever remembered in this Bengal.

He said that even though the fascist government has fallen in the country, the fascist system has not yet fallen. This fascist system must be broken.

Nazrul Islam Khan, a member of the BNP Standing Committee, was also present at the commemoration meeting. Fariduzzaman Farhad, poet Abdul Hai Sikder, barrister Rumin Farhana, Jatiyatabadi Gontantrik Party (NGP) organizing secretary Mir Amir Hossain Amu and others.
