In Khulna, two youths named Riyaz and Thanh were arrested by the mob when they came to threaten the identity of the coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement. Meanwhile, some others escaped. The arrested two were handed over to the army. They were later released on bond.

Businessmen and eyewitnesses said that 7-8 youths on 3-4 motorcycles entered the office of Mongla Water Transport located in Farajipara on Saturday around 2:30 pm. Meanwhile, they shouted and threatened Mofizur Rahman, the younger brother of the owner of the establishment. When the people in the office asked to know their identities, they introduced themselves as coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement. The people of the office suspected that they informed the army and the police. Four vehicles of army personnel arrived at the spot and took the youth to the camp. They were later released on bond.

Abdul Gaffar, MD of Mongla Water Transport Company, said that in the afternoon, some youths were looking for their younger brother Mofiz, pretending to be the coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement. We are afraid of their behavior. When the nearby shopkeepers came forward and interrogated the youths, they became agitated. After informing the army camp, they came and took the two youths.
