The National Mukti Council has decided to form the Student Labor Janata Mukti Council Committee in the central region, urging them to consolidate and organize the power of the mass uprising of the student workers.
This decision was taken at a meeting of the Central Office Central Working Team at Topkhana Road in the capital on Saturday (October 26) evening.
The meeting strongly condemned the anti-Bangladesh activities of Sheikh Hasina and her cronies and pledged to build resistance of student workers against all plots to turn Bangladesh into a protectorate of India. At the same time demands were made to the government to compel the factory owners to pay the arrears of wages to the workers.
National Liberation Council Secretary Faizul Hakim presided over the meeting and the National Liberation Council central working team members Shafi Rahman, Qayyum Hossain, Mitu Sarkar, Sajjad Sumon, Abidul Islam, Deepa Mallick, Jayant Kumar Shawon, Shamsul Alam, Monowarul Islam Ujjal and Mahfuzul Haque were present in the meeting. .
