On Friday, Bangladesh Sanatan Jagran Manch held a mass rally at Laldighi field in Chittagong with eight-point demands including constitution of tribunal to try minority torture, minority commission protection law, formation of minority ministry and five days holiday for Durga Puja. From that gathering, the long march towards Dhaka was announced.
Chinmaykrishna Das Brahmachari, the spokesperson of this organization and the principal of Pundarik Dham, said, “There is no stability in the country despite the change in power.” Attempts are being made to uproot traditionalists from this country. If that happens, the consequences will be dire. All have gathered for the demands of the traditionalists. The more we are oppressed, the more united we will be.'
He also informed about the long march towards Dhaka with the aim of realizing the demands. He also commented that if there is an attempt to overthrow the Hindus, the situation in Bangladesh will be like Afghanistan and Syria. He also claims that Hindus are not allowed to talk about their existence. They also demanded seats in the parliament at the proportional rate of Hindus in Bangladesh.
