Spam or unsolicited calls is an ironic name. Many people use an app called Truecaller to avoid the nuisance of such calls. If the phone number is not stored in the smartphone, the identity of the caller can be easily known through the Truecaller app. Even calls from certain numbers can be blocked with the help of the app. And so many people use Truecaller app to find out the source of unwanted or annoying phone calls from unknown numbers. This time, Apple is going to introduce the caller ID feature like Truecaller app to prevent spam calls on iPhone.
Apple said, in this facility called 'Business Caller ID', various organizations can add phone number, name and logo in advance. As a result, iPhone users can easily know the identity of the person or organization calling from an unknown number. Through this, the number of frauds will be reduced by identifying spam calls made with fake identities in the name of various organizations.
The feature will support iPhone as well as Apple Maps, Messages, Siri and Wallet. As a result, businesses can easily reach information to their customers. Businesses of any size can register for Apple's Business Caller ID for free. The Business Caller ID facility will be launched early next year.
