The court granted a four-day remand to Awami League organizing secretary and former member of parliament Ahmed Hossain and retired rear admiral Mohammad Sohail, former chairman of Chittagong port, in the murder case of Jubo Dal leader Navin Talukder at Paltan police station.
On Wednesday (August 21), Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jasim ordered remand after the court hearing.
Earlier on Tuesday (August 20) night, Rampura arrested former member of parliament Ahmad Hossain from Banshri area. Besides, the police arrested Sohail from Banani.
