Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed on Friday that Russia is now preparing to field North Korean troops in the war. These soldiers will be deployed this week. Zelensky said that according to the information gathered by Ukrainian intelligence agencies, North Korean soldiers will be sent into battle between Sunday and Monday. Ukraine's intelligence agency claimed that North Korea has sent 12 thousand soldiers to Russia. These include 500 officers and 3 generals.
Earlier on Wednesday, America had claimed that 3 thousand North Korean soldiers are already deployed in Russia. According to the claim, these soldiers have been trained at military bases in the eastern part of Russia.

South Korea said- North Korea sent 1500 soldiers last week
Last week, on October 18, South Korea had also claimed that North Korea had sent troops to help Russia in the Ukraine war. South Korea's intelligence agency National Intelligence Servicer (NIS) issued a statement giving this information.
The agency said in its statement that between October 8 and 13, 1,500 North Korean soldiers arrived at Russia's Vladivostok port on Russian Navy ships. All these soldiers are part of North Korea's Special Mission Forces. The agency claimed that North Korea will soon send some more troops to Russia.
NIS said that these North Korean soldiers have been given Russian army uniforms, weapons and fake identity cards. Before being deployed, they are being given training to adapt to the Russian environment. All these soldiers are living at Vladivostok Ussuriysk, Khabarovsk and Blagoveshchensk military bases of Russia.
