Jamaat formed Labor Welfare Federation to 'Stop Communists'


Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami senior Naib Amir Professor Mujibur Rahman said that on August 5 there was a mass coup in this country. Students, teachers, workers and people from different professions participated in the uprising. Hundreds of students, workers, people gave their lives. Their bloody coup led to the overthrow of the dictatorial government.

He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the special general meeting of the Bangladesh Workers' Welfare Federation at the Institute of Engineers in the capital on Friday (October 25). Jamaat leaders said in the meeting that this organization was born to stop the socialist communists.

Under the chairmanship of Federation Vice-President Professor Harunur Rashid Khan and General Secretary Advocate Atiqur Rahman, special guests were Jamaat Secretary General, former MP Professor Golam Parwar and Executive Council member Abdur Rob. Golam Rabbani, vice-president of the Federation, Lashkar said. Taslim, Master Shafiqul Alam, Kabir Ahmad, Mojibur Rahman Bhuiyan, Mansoor Rahman. Invited leaders of various labor organizations also spoke.

Secretary General of Jamaat Prof. Mia Golam Parwar said that Sramik Kalyan Federation is an exceptional organization from the conventional labor organizations of the country. He said, to prevent the inactivity of the socialist communists, the Islam-loving elders of this country established the Labor Welfare Federation in 1968.

In the president's speech, Professor Harunur Rashid Khan said that the Labor Welfare Federation wants to create a group of ideal people in this country. Those who will fight against injustice.
