NIA Arrests KTF Terrorist Baljit Singh: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested Baljeet Singh alias Baljeet Mor, associate of Khalistani terrorist organization Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) terrorist Arshdeep Singh Dalla alias Arsh Dalla. Baljeet Singh was arrested from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport when he reached India from UAE. LOC was also opened against Baljeet Singh in the month of February. Not only this, in June 2024 the court had also issued non-bailable warrant against him.
NIA is seeing this as a big success. According to NIA, Baljeet Singh was doing logistics support, recruitment and terror funding work for KTF. Not only this, Baljeet was involved in many terrorist conspiracies of Khalistani terrorists in Punjab. According to NIA, KTF members and handlers were raising money through extortion, arms smuggling and target killing. Due to which terrorist incidents were being carried out in India.
Allegations of target killing and arms supply in India
NIA investigation also revealed that in an FIR registered in February this year, Baljeet was also active as a key conspirator in the KTF conspiracy to spread terror in Punjab. Taking suo motu cognizance, NIA had registered a case against this on 13 February.
Baljeet Mor was also involved in target killing in India and delivering consignments of arms and ammunition to India. After the arrest of Baljeet in this case, important information will also be available about other activities of KTF. NI is trying to catch many henchmen of KTF. NIA has also conducted many operations regarding this organization in the past.
