Salman Khan Death Threat: Mumbai Police, which is investigating the case of sending threatening messages to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, has arrested a person from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Officials gave this information on Wednesday (23 October). The accused has been identified as Sheikh Hussain Sheikh Mousin (24), a vegetable vendor from Jamshedpur.
Let us tell you that last week on October 18, a threatening message was received from Salman Khan on the WhatsApp helpline of Mumbai Traffic Police demanding extortion of Rs 5 crore, after which the police registered a case and started investigation. An official said that the police traced the number to Jharkhand and a team was sent to nab the accused. While another team was also sent to Guwahati.

Officials said on Tuesday that the police started their investigation to find out the person who sent the message. Meanwhile, Mumbai Traffic Police received an apology message from the same mobile phone number on October 21. In which it was written, “The message was sent by mistake.” After this, when investigation was done, the location of the person sending the message was tracked to Jharkhand.
After this, Mumbai Police investigated with the help of local police in Jamshedpur and arrested the person sending the message. Now he will be brought to Mumbai. Let us tell you that the accused had claimed to be close to Lawrence Bishnoi gang and had threatened to kill Salman if he did not pay the extortion money.
The accused had written in the message, “Don't take it lightly, if Salman Khan wants to stay alive and end his enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, then he will have to pay Rs 5 crore. If the money is not given, Salman Khan's condition will be worse than that of Baba Siddiqui.
