Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Senior Joint Secretary General of the party commented that those who break the name of BNP or add different names to the organization have nothing to do with it. He said, 'If any organization called Martyr President Ziaur Rahman, BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tarek Rahman and Nationalists, action will be taken against them. If anyone from BNP goes under the banner of Bhuiphore organization, legal action will be taken against them too.'
Rizvi said these things in a press conference at BNP's central office in Nayapaltan on Thursday (October 24) afternoon.
He said that apart from the recognized organ organizations of BNP, there are teachers' organization, doctors' organization DAB, engineers and agriculturists' organization AB, Bangladesh Sammilit Peshajeevi Parishad, Medical Technologists Association.
Basically, when the dictator Sheikh Hasina's government fell through the August 5 student movement, some nefarious circles are looting and extorting the name of BNP. BNP took action in this context.
Rizvi said, 'Students sent away the fascist Sheikh Hasina through an earth-shaking movement. Many people had to give their blood and lives to remove this fascist.'
Stating that the interim government has not taken up the work that needs to be done at the institute level, he said, 'People of this country want to eat and live later. The government has not yet broken the commodity price syndicate. It was necessary to look at alternative countries for imports, which the government did not take.
President Ziaur Rahman, who was the only martyr in the country because of famine, brought self-sufficiency in food, he said, 'Why do we have to be dependent? No government action is seen to break the syndicate. If the syndicate is not broken, the working people of low income will not be able to live.'
