Zayed Khan Opens Up On His Interfaith Marriage: Actor Zayed Khan is away from the screen these days, but at one time he was people's crush. Recently he has talked about his marriage and told how he got married secretly. Regarding his interfaith marriage with Malaika Parekh, he said that he had no knowledge about Hindu customs.
In a recent interview on Couple of Things YouTube channel, Zayed Khan said, I had never mentioned this before. There were 2,000 names in our wedding guest list. We were wondering in our minds whether this is a wedding or a circus. So, we called up 30 of our friends and told them that we were going to Taj Village in Goa and had a surprise for everyone.
Had a secret marriage in Goa
Zayed Khan further said- 'In a very lovely way, he had organized the Pandit and the Phere and we actually got married before the wedding at the Taj Village in Goa. We took seven rounds and it was a very beautiful destination wedding. We really wanted to remember our wedding day and have fun. During this, Zayed had also said that after getting married secretly, he also got married in front of people.
She said this regarding interfaith marriage
Zayed Khan further said that although his family celebrates every festival and respects all religions. But he faced some problems in marriage because he did not know much about Hindu customs. He said- We are from a family where we celebrate all religions, we celebrate all the gods, we do not question. So this was the sweetest thing for us. I still remember, I didn't know the culture, so I asked them to go ahead and I would follow them.
