Bacteria infection (E. coli) has spread from McDonald's burgers in America. A man died after eating McDonald's Quarter Pounder hamburger. 49 people are ill, out of which 10 are admitted in hospital.
According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), this E. coli virus, which started in late September, has so far spread to 10 western states, with most of the cases reported in Colorado and Nebraska.

The company admitted that in the restaurants where complaints were received, onions were being supplied from only one company.
