of UP Yogi Adityanath Every year on Diwali, the government celebrates a grand festival of lights in Ramnagari Ayodhya, for which preparations start several months in advance. Not only this, this time there was confusion among the people regarding Diwali whether this festival will be celebrated on 31st October or 1st November. After the government's announcement, this confusion has also gone away. This time Diwali will be celebrated on 31st October only.

Yogi government issued orders
On Monday, an order has been issued by Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar to all the District Magistrates and Treasuries of the state in which instructions have been given to release the salaries of government employees before Diwali. Along with this, the situation regarding Diwali has also become clear.

In the order issued by the government, Diwali holiday has been given on 31st October. Whereas on 2nd November there will be a holiday for Govardhan Puja and on 3rd November the festival of Bhai Dooj will be celebrated. In the order issued by the government, only these days have been declared a holiday, whereas the situation on November 1 is not clear.

Actually, this time the festival of Diwali was falling for two days, after which people were worried about when it would be celebrated. The reason for this is that this time Amavasya is starting from 2.40 pm on 31st October whereas it will end by the afternoon of 1st November. According to the scriptures, the night of 1st November is not the date of Amavasya, hence this festival will be celebrated on 1st November only.
