UP By Election 2024: For the by-elections of 9 seats in Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party National President and Kannauj MP Akhilesh Yadav has said that the elections will be fought on the symbol of his own party. Akhilesh Yadav gave this information on social media site X. Akhilesh's post indicates that it is possible that on the seats where candidates have not been announced yet, Congress leaders may contest elections on the SP symbol. Apart from this, the Kannauj MP made it clear through his statement that even though all the 9 seats will be contested on the SP symbol, there will be an India Alliance with Congress in UP.
In his post, Akhilesh started the discussion by quoting a social post made during the Haryana Assembly elections. Even in Haryana elections, when SP had decided that it would not contest on even a single seat, the former UP CM had written on the social media site X – It is not about winning the seat.
Going to write a new chapter of victory- Akhilesh
SP Chief wrote in a post made late on Wednesday night – 'It is not about winning the seat'. Under this strategy, the joint candidates of 'India Alliance' will contest elections on all the 9 seats on the symbol of Samajwadi Party, 'Cycle'. Akhilesh wrote- Congress and Samajwadi Party are standing together, shoulder to shoulder, for a big victory. India Alliance is going to write a new chapter of victory in this by-election.
Kannauj MP wrote – With the coming together of Congress Party's top leadership to booth level workers, the power of Samajwadi Party has increased manifold. With this unprecedented cooperation and support, every worker of 'India Alliance' has been filled with new energy by taking the pledge of victory on all the 9 assembly seats.
He wrote- This is an election to save the country's constitution, harmony and honor of PDA. That is why our appeal is: not even a single vote should be reduced, not even a single vote should be divided. This harmonious unity and solidarity of 'India Alliance' in the interest of the country will write new history today and tomorrow also.
