Dhaka: President Md. Since last night's movement demanding Shahabuddin's resignation, the situation has been tense in front of the President's residence, Bangabhaban.
Going to the ground on Wednesday (23 October), it can be seen that strict security measures have been taken by installing barbed wire and barricades in Banga Bhavan, the President's residence and its surrounding areas.
It is said that this measure has been taken to keep the situation normal after the protests that have been going on for the past few days.
Security has been beefed up since morning but no gathering has been seen so far except for the eager crowd. Some are standing and taking pictures while ordinary people walk through this path. At times, when the crowd of eager crowd swells, the law enforcement officers move them away.
A large number of police, army and BGB joint forces have deployed APCs and water cannons in the area in front of Banga Bhavan to strengthen security.
