The protest camp of Chhatra League procession in DU

Dhaka University branch Islami Chhatra Shibir protested the Chhatra League procession in Dhaka University (DU) wearing black masks and caps on their heads.

The protest was announced in a press release signed by DU camp publicity and media secretary Hossain Muhammad Zubair on Wednesday (October 23) afternoon.

According to the notification, around 10 cadres of Chhatra League took out a procession from Madhur canteen of Dhaka University on Wednesday morning wearing masks and caps. The procession of the terrorist organization Chhatra League hiding its face in the empty campus is an extreme threat to the security of the university. Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, Dhaka University branch strongly condemns and protests this incident.

It also said that the BCL has proved to be the worst enemy of the country and humanity through murder, oppression, torture, oppression and July massacre for the last 16 years. During the student movement, many students of the university were killed in the hands of Chhatra League terrorists in Dhaka University campus. Therefore, on July 17, the university students declared war against terrorism and freed the campus from Chhatra League. The isolated practice of this terrorist organization on the campus is a threat to the safety of the students.

In this situation, the students have demanded the university administration to strengthen security and take a decision on two other issues.

The demands are:

1. Terrorism in the campus, creation of anarchy, last 16 years of oppression-terrorism, deprivation of basic and human rights of students and the July massacre, the politics of the terrorist organization Chhatra League should be banned by law in Dhaka University campus.

2. 17 July should be declared as 'Campus Anti-Terrorism Day' to commemorate the brutal attack by joint forces and the release of terrorist Chhatra League on 17th July from DU campus.
