This 32 year old batsman scored a double century in just 103 balls. Chad Bowes scored 150 runs from the boundary in this innings.

Chad Bowes, who has played 17 matches for New Zealand, plays for Canterbury in domestic cricket. He scored a double century in 103 balls for Canterbury on Wednesday. He played this innings against Otago. Chad Bowes was out after scoring 205 runs in 110 balls. His innings included 27 fours and 7 sixes. Thanks to this innings of Chad, Canterbury scored 343 runs in 50 overs. In response, Otago team was all out after scoring 103 runs in 24.5 overs.

Chad Bowes along with N. Jagadeesan and Travis Head have broken the joint record of fastest double century in List A cricket. Travis Head scored a double century in 114 balls for South Australia against Queensland in 2021. He then played an inning of 230 runs in 127 balls. Travis Head hit 28 fours and 8 sixes in his innings.

N Jagadeesan, while playing for Tamil Nadu in 2022, had completed a double century in just 114 balls against Arunachal Pradesh. He then played an innings of 277 runs in 141 balls. N Jagadeesan had hit 15 sixes and 25 fours in his innings.
