New 23 proposals of LDP including banning Awami League


The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) has proposed 23 new points, including banning Awami League for killing students in the uprising. At the same time, the chairman of the party, Col. (retd.) Ali Ahmad, demanded that the Awami League leaders be tried and hanged like the leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami.

Mentioning that 18 crore people fought against the Awami League in July-August, he said, they used the administration including the police unfairly, confronted the people, pushed the country towards destruction, became corrupt, and killed thousands of our sons and daughters.

Ali Ahmad said, we think that Jamaat-e-Islami opposed the liberation war in 1971, then we banned them. Why will Awami League not be banned today? We have said again, Awami League should be banned. They fought against 18 crore people. They have no right to do politics. They did everything to stay in power. In the end, he could not survive the pressure of the crowd, and was forced to leave power.

In response to a question, he said, Awami League leaders have fled, how can a thief live well. Jamaat leaders have been hanged for the war crimes of 1971. Now they (Awami League leaders) should be hanged. He hanged Jamaat, now he hangs Awami League. It is your responsibility.

Apart from this, LDP chief Ali Ahmed talked about various issues including arresting the corrupt, bringing back the looted money of the people, bringing those who participated in the murders during the coup to justice and speeding up the reform process.
