'Janata Bazar' opened in Natore, buying produce from farmers and selling it at fair prices


Various seasonal vegetables including rice, egg, potato, cuttlefish, brinjal, gourd, onion, green pepper, cucumber were sold in Janata market on the first day. Rice was sold at Tk 45 per kg, egg at Tk 49 per kg, potato at Tk 54 per kg, onion at Tk 130 per kg and brinjal at Tk 55 per kg.

According to NATO's interest protection committee, products worth lakhs of rupees were brought to the market today. More than two hundred customers bought the product. There is customer demand. Double quantity of goods will be brought tomorrow Thursday. As long as there is customer demand, it will be sold. Products will be sold three days a week. Several teams have been formed with committee members for this task. They will work in turn. Village level members of the committee are working to procure products at fair prices. They are buying and sending products from their area.
