UP News: The offices of Mayor Harikant Ahluwalia and Municipal Commissioner Saurabh Gangwar will be demolished in Meerut Municipal Corporation. Preparations have been made to demolish these offices. Soon both the offices will be vacated and after that they will be demolished. The offices around the Mayor and Municipal Commissioner's office have also been demolished.

Meerut Mayor and Municipal Commissioner as well as the office of in-charge city health officer Dr. Harpal Singh along with the House Tax offices have been asked to vacate. After this they will be demolished. Actually, the city's first multilevel parking is going to be built in Meerut Municipal Corporation. To construct this parking, the old quarters and many old offices in the old campus of the Municipal Corporation have been demolished. Now it is the turn of the offices of Mayor Harikant Ahluwalia and Municipal Commissioner Saurabh Gangwar. To start the work of multilevel parking soon, the old offices of the Municipal Corporation are being demolished on a war footing.

For the multilevel parking to be built in Meerut Municipal Corporation, the old quarters of the Municipal Corporation employees and the office of the Water Works Department were the first to be demolished. Some quarters and offices were later demolished, now a lot of ground has become vacant. Along with this, preparations are now underway to demolish the offices of the Mayor, Municipal Commissioner and the city health officer in-charge. The goods have almost been shifted from here and only a few goods are left, which will also be removed soon and after that the workers will demolish these offices.

Multilevel parking will be built for 500 vehicles, amount of Rs 11 crore approved

The multi-level parking that is going to be built in Meerut Municipal Corporation will greatly benefit the surrounding areas. Multilevel parking for about 500 vehicles will be built in Meerut Municipal Corporation. About Rs 45 crore 99 lakh will be spent on this multilevel parking and for this an amount of about Rs 11 crore 49 lakh 76 has also been approved from the government. BJP National Vice President and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Laxmikant Vajpayee, former MP Rajendra Aggarwal and Mayor Harikant Ahluwalia had made a lot of efforts regarding multilevel parking and these efforts were successful. Now the work of this multilevel parking will start soon.

The biggest benefit of the construction of Meerut's first multi-level parking will be to Sarafa Bazaar, Asia's largest market city in terms of hand jewellery. Along with this, traders of Ghantaghar, Valley Bazaar, Palika Bazaar, Dawa Market Khairnagar, Lala Ka Bazaar, Kotla Bazaar, Delhi Gate and Kesarganj will get huge benefits from it. At present, due to the problem of parking, many times people coming from outside have to face many problems, but after the construction of multi-level parking in the Municipal Corporation office, this problem will be solved. Chief Engineer Devendra Kumar says that the work is going on very fast and the work of multilevel parking will be started soon.
