Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir wants to bring out student politics from the culture created by Chhatra League in campuses through reforms.
Manjurul Islam, Central President of Chhatrashibir, said these things in an exchange meeting with journalists at Bagicha restaurant in Dhaka Segunbagicha on Saturday (October 19).
Manjurul Islam said that student politics has gone through a difficult crisis during the dictatorship government. Common room culture, campus hall occupation, seat trading and intolerance of other organizations are seen in BCL activities. In contrast, Chhatra Shibir works on the basis of coexistence and is trying to create a fair political environment for all.
He also said, our aim is to build a tolerant and culture-minded political environment; Where there will be respect and cooperation among all student organizations.
The discussion session started with recitation of the Holy Qur'an under the direction of Zahidul Islam, secretary general of the student camp. Other central members were also present at this time.
