Shiv Sena releases list for 45 seats, CM Eknath Shinde's name also included


Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024: maharashtra assembly elections Regarding this, CM Eknath Shinde's party has also released the list of its candidates. CM of the state Eknath Shinde Kopri will contest from Pachpakhadi seat. On Tuesday (October 22), Shiv Sena released the list of candidates for 45 seats.

Sanjay Gaikwad has been given ticket from Buldhana. Abdul Sattar has been fielded from Sillod. Along with this, Sanjay Shirsat has been made the candidate from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar West. At the same time, the party has made Dadaji Bhuse its candidate from Malegaon Bahya. Pratap Sarnaik will contest from Ovala Majiwada.

Along with this, Pratap Sarnaik will contest from Ovala Majiwada assembly seat of Maharashtra. Tanaji Sawant has been given ticket from Paranda. Deepak Keskar will contest from Sawantwadi. Whereas, the party has given tickets to Shambhuraj Desai from Patan and Yamini Dadhav from Byculla.

Candidate against MNS's Amit Thackeray from Mahim

Shiv Sena of Eknath Shinde faction has fielded a candidate from Mahim Assembly seat of Mumbai against Amit Raj Thackeray of Maharashtra Navnirman (MNS). Incumbent Sada Saravankar has been fielded again. Amit Thackeray is the son of MNS chief Raj Thackeray. The wife of Ravindra Vaykar, MP from Jogeshwari East seat, and the son of Paithan MP Sandipan Bhumre have got the ticket. Most of the sitting MLAs in this list have got tickets again or their family members have got tickets.

Let us tell you that the constituent parties in the ruling Mahayuti alliance in Maharashtra are contesting the assembly elections together. Currently, there is a Mahayuti coalition government in the state and Eknath Shinde is the Chief Minister of the state, while the Deputy CMs are Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar. Voting will be held on 288 assembly seats of the state in a single phase on November 20. At the same time, the results of the elections will be declared on 23 November.
