There are chances of change in the weather of Jammu and Kashmir. According to Meteorological Center Srinagar, there may be rain and snowfall in some parts of North Kashmir during the midnight of October 23 and morning of October 24.
During this period, there is a possibility of snowfall and rain in the mountainous areas of North and Central Kashmir on October 28 also. This will increase the cold. Meanwhile, the weather remained clear in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
The night temperature is below ten degrees in most of the districts of Kashmir. The day temperature in Srinagar was recorded at 25.2 and minimum at 7.3 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature was recorded at 3.8 degrees Celsius in Pahalgam and 4.8 degrees Celsius in Gulmarg. The night temperature in Leh is at zero.
It was sunny with light clouds throughout the day in Jammu. The maximum temperature here was recorded at 30.0 and the minimum temperature was 20.5 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature was recorded at 24.6 degrees Celsius in Banihal, 23.8 in Batot, 27.4 in Katra and 23.8 degrees Celsius in Bhaderwah.
