Gangster Aman Sahu has applied in the Jharkhand court for permission to contest elections. If sources are to be believed, jailed Aman Sahu wants to contest elections from Barkagaon assembly seat of Jharkhand. In this regard, a petition has been filed in the court of Principal District and Sessions Judge, Latehar.
50 criminal cases, Aman Sahu is most wanted
Aman Sahu is one of the most wanted gangsters of Jharkhand. More than 50 criminal cases are registered against him in Jharkhand. He is currently imprisoned in jail. At present, the Raipur Police has brought gangster Aman Sahu from Seraikela in Jharkhand to Raipur on a production warrant in connection with the shootout case on a businessman in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Raipur District Court has sent him to jail in judicial custody till October 28.
Keeping security in mind, the police had deployed additional forces in the court premises. Many criminal cases have already been registered against Aman Sahu and after his arrest, the police have unearthed many clues, which can help in further investigation.
Aman Sahu is very dangerous
Bishnoi gang's henchman Aman Sahu is so dangerous that when Raipur police reached Seraikela jail to take Aman, he was surrounded by 40 security forces. On the lines of Lawrence Bishnoi, henchman Aman Sahu also operated his gang from jail itself. A coal and construction businessman from Telibandha, Raipur has a contract worth Rs 800 crore in Jharkhand. In the shootout that took place outside the office of PRA Group owner Prahlad Aggarwal, the police arrested two people on the basis of CCTV.

It was revealed that Aman Sahu was behind the shootout, because even before that he had threatened a Raipur businessman from jail. Aman Sahu and his gang collect levy from businessmen working in Jharkhand. Besides, Aman Sahu gang also used to demand protection money from the vigilantes working in Jharkhand and if they did not pay the protection money, they used to carry out shootouts. Aman Sahu used to organize all these shootouts while staying in jail.
Now Aman Sahu wants to contest elections as an independent
Aman's gang network is spread in many districts of Jharkhand. While living in jail in the areas of Ranchi, Dhanbad, Ramgarh, Chatra, Hazaribagh, Palamu, Latehar, Bokaro, Jamshedpur, Jharsuguda, he works to collect extortion from coal mining companies and coal business transport and businessmen and in case of non-payment of extortion, he also goes to Jharkhand.
