IRI delegation meeting with GM Quader


A delegation of US organization International Republican Institute (IRI) met Jatiya Party (JAP) Chairman GM Quader. The recent law and order and political situation in Bangladesh was discussed in the meeting held on Tuesday (October 22) afternoon at Jatiya Party Chairman Banani's office auditorium.

After the meeting, Japa General Secretary told the media. Mujibul Haque Chunnu. He said that the international community wants to see free, fair and impartial elections in Bangladesh.

JAPA Secretary General said that the IRI delegation wanted to know about the uprising of students in Bangladesh, the current law and order and political situation in the country. The IRI delegation also sought to know about the Election Commission and electoral system reforms.

Jatiya Party Chairman Kader spoke openly on their various questions. He also talked about creating an acceptable election environment with the participation of all parties.

In response to a question from the journalists, Jatiya Party Secretary General said that in the last three elections Jatiya Party was forced to go to the elections, the chairman of the party also explained.

Earlier, a five-member delegation led by IRI Bangladesh chief Josua Rosena Bam paid a courtesy call on GM Quader. Jatiya Party Secretary General Md. Mujibul Haque Chunnu, Presidium Member Adv. Rezaul Islam Bhuiyan, Sherifa Quader, Presidium Member and Jatiya Party Chairman's Ambassador for International Affairs Masroor Mawla were present.
