Secretary General of Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir Zahidul Islam said that the Arab world's silence on Israeli brutality and genocide in Palestine will have a negative role for Palestine and the Muslim world. If Palestine is occupied, it will be dangerous not only for the Palestinians, but also for all the countries of the Middle East.
Secretary General Zahidul Islam said these things before the funeral of Palestinian Hamas leader Shaheed Yahya Ibrahim Hasan Sinwar organized by the Islamic Student Camp at the South Gate of Baitul Mukarram on Sunday (October 20).
He said, Western countries claim themselves as the defenders of humanity. He came to us in the guise of a peddler of humanity. But they are directly supporting the genocide in Palestine. It is an expression of extreme duplicity to them. Israel is killing women, children and innocent people, destroying homes, trapping people in shelters. As a result of the blockade on Gaza, people are prevented from meeting their basic needs, and opportunities for education are reduced. The silence of the UN and the OIC in the midst of this humanitarian disaster has made the lives of Palestinians even more miserable.
He praised the heroism of Hamas-head Yahya Sinwar, saying that Shahid Sinwar set an example of courage, determination and unforgettable resistance in defense of Palestinian rights. He fought till the last moment of his life and was martyred like a true hero.
