AFM Khalid Hossain, Advisor to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, said this after the meeting regarding air fares for pilgrim transport at the secretariat on Tuesday (October 22).
The religious advisor said that the package will be finalized in the meeting of the executive committee regarding Hajj management on that day (October 30).
Last year air fare was 1 lakh 94 thousand 800 taka. Biman has proposed a fare of Tk 1 lakh 75 thousand this time. Asked whether you agree or not, the advisor said, there is a little consideration in determining the air fare. So now we cannot say definitively. We are working on this, trying to reduce the rent.
He said that this time also Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Saudia Airlines and Fly Nas will transport pilgrims.
