Exclusive: India lost due to Rishabh Pant's six, eyewitness revealed Chinnaswamy's Chakravyuh

New Delhi. The defeat of the Indian team is being reviewed everywhere. Some people are blaming poor batting while some people are blaming Rohit Sharma's captaincy. But former cricketer Saba Karim, who is commenting in this match, believes that the long six coming from Rishabh Pant's bat changed the course of the match. Now you too must be wondering why Saba Karam gave this statement and what is the whole story behind it. How the Indians were able to add only 54 runs in the last 7 wickets of the second innings.

In fact, when New Zealand captain Latham took the second new ball, Rishabh Pant and Sarfaraz Khan were seen in a very aggressive mood by forming a big partnership for India. The second new ball was swinging but runs were also being scored. On the third ball of the 87th over, Rishabh Pant hit a big six while sweeping the slog. The six was so long that the ball went out of the field. As soon as the ball went out, the Kiwi team got a chance to come back into the match.

The changed ball did wonders for Team India's defeat.

After searching for the ball for a long time, the third player reached the field with a box of new balls and Saudi then brought out the ball which broke the back of the entire batting. The changed ball started doing more wonders. And the pitch which earlier seemed flat, started seeing movement again. Then the combination of the changed ball and the speaking cracks shook the Indian batting. It became difficult for all the tailenders including Rahul, Ravindra, Jadeja, Ashwin and Pant himself to stand on the pitch. 6 batsmen returned to the pavilion in front of the changed ball and the team could only add 54 runs.

Changed ball did wonders in IPL match also

Taking his point forward, former cricketer Saba Karim said that the same thing was seen in the Chennai Super Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore match at Chinnaswamy's ground this year. Chasing the target of 219 runs, Chennai had to score 17 runs in the last over to win the match and Mahendra Singh Dhoni was at the crease. Dhoni hit a big six on the first ball of Yash Dayal who came to bowl the 20th over. The six was so long that the ball went out of the field. The ball had to be changed and Dhoni was out on the next ball.

The remaining four bowlers had to score 11 runs. Jadeja was at the crease but the changed ball wanted to write a different story. Chennai lost the match it had won. Overall, one thing is clear from Saba Karim's words that magic works on Chinnaswamy's ground and if the ball goes out, the second ball will definitely do some miracle.
