A slight decline has been seen in the stock market today i.e. on 21st October. The Sensex fell by 73 points and closed at 81,151. At the same time, Nifty also fell by 72 points, it closed at the level of 24,781.
Earlier today, Sensex had opened at the level of 81,770 with a gain of 546 points. Today there is a big decline in banking and FMCG shares. Tata Consumer shares fell by 7.08% and Kotak Bank shares fell by 4.73%.
Asian markets rose today
- In the Asian market, Japan's Nikkei declined by 0.07%. Whereas Korea's Kospi closed with a rise of 0.43% and China's Shanghai Composite closed with a rise of 0.20%.
- On October 18, America's Dow Jones rose 0.08% to 43,275 and Nasdaq closed 0.63% to 18,489. The S&P 500 rose 0.40% to 5,864.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹5,485 crore on October 18. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹5,214 crore.
2 IPOs opened from today From today i.e. 21st October, 2 IPO Initial Public Offers i.e. IPOs have been opened. These IPOs will be of Deepak Builders and Engineers India Limited and Vaari Energies Limited Company. Investors will be able to bid for this issue till October 23. There was a rise in the market on Friday Earlier on Friday i.e. 18th October, a rise was seen in the stock market. The Sensex closed at 81,224 with a gain of 218 points. There was also a rise of 104 points in Nifty, it closed at the level of 24,854.
