Kishoreganj District Reporters Association has organized a tree plantation program in memory of martyrs killed in anti-discrimination student movement. On Wednesday (August 21) at noon, this program was carried out by planting different species of medicinal plants in the premises of Kishoreganj 250-bed General Hospital.

Under the chairmanship of Humayun Kabir, the convenor of the organization, Assistant Director of Kishoreganj 250-bed General Hospital, Dr. Shamsul Alam, Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Dr. Tazreen Taiyab. All the members of the organization were present at this time.

After the tree planting program, the leaders of the organization said in a short speech that this program is celebrated in memory of all the martyrs who died in the anti-discrimination student movement. During the agitation, they demanded that the justice for the murders be confirmed in a timely manner and the Cyber ​​Security Act be repealed.

Kishoreganj District Reporters Association has been carrying out various social activities since its inception in 2020. During the corona pandemic, relief and protection materials were distributed several times with the organization's own funding. The leaders of the organization promised to be involved in various social activities in the future.
