Dhaka: President appointed by Sheikh Hasina's government. The anti-discrimination student movement will hold a mass rally at the capital's central Shaheed Minar on Tuesday (October 22) to demand Sahabuddin's resignation and the banning of the Chhatra League for terrorist activities. The gathering will start at 3:30 pm.
Apart from this, a platform called 'Inkilab Manch' will hold a July rally program at Shahbagh in the capital at 4 pm on the same demand.
Recently, in an interview with Manzmin's editor Matiur Rahman, the President said that there is no documentary evidence about Sheikh Hasina's resignation. In this incident, the students are angry with the President.
After this incident, the students demanded the president's resignation as well as banning the Chhatra League in a rally organized in Dhaka University under the banner of anti-discrimination student movement on Monday evening.
Hasnat Abdullah said in the rally, I want to tell Chuppu Sahib, there is still time, leave the luxury of Bangabhavan and choose your path. In the meantime, the murderer has broken the oath of Hasina's constitution – although we do not accept it. If you think about rehabilitating Sheikh Hasina, you are thinking wrong. Sheikh Hasina's rehabilitation will never happen again on the soil of Bengal. Murderer Hasina should come to Bengal, she should be tried, she should be hanged.
Coordinator Abu Bakr Majumdar said that fascism is still on the soil of Bengal. We demand the resignation of Sahabuddin Chuppu who was a friend of dictatorship. Otherwise there will be calls for more and more drastic agitation from the students.
