Raya Holding initially approves Helios Investment's offer to acquire 49% of Raya Foods

Arab Finance: Company announced Raya Holding for Financial Investments – (RAYA)that the offer submitted by Helios Investment Partners to acquire a 49% share of the total capital of Raya Foods Company was presented, approved and approved in principle, according to the Egyptian Stock Exchange statement.

She added that the offer is being implemented in an investment deal (a secondary purchase, capital increase, and a mezzanine loan convertible to ownership) with a total amount of $40 million and an estimated value of the company equal to $65 million.

The Council authorized its Chairman and Managing Director – individually, to take the necessary measures to study the offer and discuss the detailed conditions in preparation for signing the contracts after studying them.

On its consolidated business results for the financial period ending on 06/30/2024, it showed achieving revenues of 14.511 billion pounds, an increase of 38% compared to the previous year, according to what the company stated in Disclosure Sent to the Egyptian Stock Exchange.

On a quarterly basis, the company achieved revenues amounting to 9.675 million pounds, an increase of 21% year-on-year.
