Maharashtra News: Activist Manoj Jarange, demanding Maratha reservation, on Sunday attacked Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, calling him a cruel person and said that the caste for which the commission did not make any recommendations, which did not agitate, 15 castes did not ask for reservation but they were given reservation from OBCs. He further said that Devendra Fadnavis has forcibly brought me into politics.
According to the report of ABP Majha, on the issue of contesting elections, Jarange said that we are ready for November 20. Many candidates are asking for tickets. Manoj Jarange said, “I am not saying that our candidates will not stand. Whatever you do, society should not lose. I do not wish to go into politics, if we fight then BJP becomes happy. If we don't fight then Mahavikas Aghadi becomes happy.
'Change of power is needed, not change of religion'
Manoj Jarange said, “We want change of power and not change of religion. We want Hindutva but that of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is Maratha in Hindu. But when Maratha asks for reservation then why does Hindu oppose. If you want to make Hindu big then Give reservation to Maratha.”
Will give tickets to the winners – Manoj Jarange
Manoj Jarange said that we will give tickets wherever the candidates can win. Candidates will not be given on SC-ST seats. Candidates will not field candidates where they cannot win. On the matter of supporting any party's candidate, Manoj Jarange said, “We will support that candidate on any seat who will write on a bond of Rs 500 that the demands of Maratha society are acceptable.”
