The Indian government has claimed that a Khalistani terrorist is involved in the Canadian Border Police. According to the report of Times Now, Sandeep Singh Sidhu alias Sunny also has relations with the terrorist organization ISI. He is also accused of murder of Shaurya Chakra winner Balwinder Singh Sandhu.
India's National Investigation Agency (NIA) had included Sunny in the wanted list in 2020 in the Sandhu murder case. Sandhu was murdered on 10 October 2020 at his home in Bhikhiwind in Tarn Taran district of Punjab.
Balwinder Singh Sandhu, a teacher from Punjab, was awarded the Shaurya Chakra on 14 April 1993 for his efforts against Khalistani terrorism.
NIA says that Sidhu has also been an agent of Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI.
Khalistanis from Canada had conspired to murder Sandhu NIA had told the Supreme Court this week that Khalistani terrorists living in Canada were behind the murder of Balwinder Singh Sandhu. He told that Sunny Toronto, Sukhmeet Pal Singh Sukh and Lakhveer Singh Rode of Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) had planned the murder.
Lakhvir Singh Rode is the nephew of Khalistani terrorist Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala and is the chief of KLF. The KLF was involved in the killings of 7 people from January 2016 to October 2017.

Sidhu was killed by ISI agent and KLF terrorist after he stopped a Canadian agent from smuggling drugs from across the border. Since then he was in the wanted list of NIA.
