Egypt seeks to deepen cooperation with the BRICS countries

Arab Finance: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi expressed his appreciation for the efforts of Russian President Vladimir Putin to enhance cooperation between the BRICS countries, during His word At the BRICS Business Forum in Kazan, Russia.

Al-Sisi said: “We value the holding of the BRICS Business Forum, which reflects the keenness to develop relations between the bloc’s countries, in a way that contributes to enhancing investments, intra-trade, and joint projects, which will undoubtedly lead to strengthening our efforts to meet the aspirations of our peoples and achieve the desired economic growth.”

The President stressed the importance of the forum at a time when the world faces “successive and unprecedented international challenges and crises that require the concerted efforts of all.”

He also pointed to the role of the private sector and business councils in advancing sustainable development, and said that the forum “represents an important platform that allows exploring various investment and trade opportunities among the countries of the group, and enhancing cooperation between private sector institutions by investing in the competitive advantages of each country to launch joint projects, including It contributes to enriching economic integration among the countries of the bloc and magnifies the role of BRICS, as a prominent economic bloc, in increasing global economic growth, especially in light of the enormous economic and investment opportunities our countries possess, especially in the fields of renewable energy, digital transformation and manufacturing industries, which have become among the most important pillars of achieving Development.”
