Arab Finance: Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, announced the allocation of 5% of the total units offered by the Social Housing and Real Estate Finance Support Fund as part of the new announcement of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians.” For citizens with disabilitiesThis is good news for them.

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny explained that this allocation comes in light of the directives of His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, on the necessity of paying attention to citizens with disabilities and their families, within the framework of the state’s vision to improve the quality of life for citizens with disabilities and provide them with means of care and support, through many initiatives. , including providing appropriate housing for them.

Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing and Real Estate Finance Support Fund, indicated that the Fund will allocate a full week for citizens of determination to apply for the offered housing units before the announcement is put forward to all citizens, including citizens of determination.

She added that the allocation to citizens with disabilities will be made according to the number of available units, and this allocation includes a single family entity represented by (the applicant – the wife/husband – minor children), provided that the conditions apply to them and the submission of medical documents indicating the degree of disability, a disability proof card and integrated services. For people with disabilities, to be valid through 2024.

Abdel Hamid explained that the Fund is in the process of offering 70,000 housing units for low- and middle-income citizens as part of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians,” with 60,000 housing units for low-income citizens, and 10,000 housing units for middle-income citizens.
