New Delhi. Wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant missed his seventh Test century by just one run in the second innings of the Bangalore Test match. However, while playing the inning of 99 runs, Pant entertained the spectators sitting in the stadium a lot. He hit a tremendous six on the ball of fast bowler Tim Southee, whose length was 107 meters. Pant hit this six on the score of 90. He along with Sarfaraz Khan made India out of trouble by making a partnership of 177 runs for the fourth wicket. Despite being injured, Pant came out to bat and played a valuable innings which will be remembered for centuries. Of course he missed his century but this innings of Pant is worthy of praise.

Tim Southee brought the 87th over of the Indian innings for New Zealand. Pant scored four runs as a bye on the first ball of this over from Saudi. The second ball was of short length from Saudi, on which Pant only defended. On the third ball, Pant, sitting on his knees, hit a slog sweep over midwicket for a six which was 107 meters long. When Pant hit this six, he was playing on the score of 90. Glenn Phillips' mouth was left wide open after seeing this long six of Pant.
